     Hanoi is old city, has experience many ups and downs dynasties, so its architecture is rich and multiform. the new architecture is located next to the old architecture but still keep the harmonious beauty of the ancient Oriental city, Has been a long time,  Hanoi has became an attractive theme for the composer, painter and poet But now, Hanoi aspect has changed. It did not keep the ancient beauty like the time ago. Because population explosion, the appearance of many modern transport and the building has no plan that has disrupted the beauty of Hanoi.

   The painting describes peaceful activity of Hanoi citizen in the a workday at  the beginning of the XXth century.  The Brick street is located in the center of Hanoi city . At the short coil of the street there are a ancient pagoda that was covered by a century old banyan tree. this is DongMon pagoda “now still exist”, the pagoda gate look outside is simple but interior is quite large,  the pagoda worship either Buddhism and Taoism, opposite the pagoda is the houses of ordinary person that was builder in 19 century,
